For those flying in from out of town here are some airports and their distance from Redlands.

Ontario Airport - about 25 minutes
Palm Springs Airport - about 50 minutes
John Wayne Airport (Orange County) - about 1 hour
Los Angeles Airport - about 1 1/2 hours, can be much longer with traffic

The Comfort Inn is one of the nicest hotels right in Redlands. The Morey Mansion is expensive but could be very nice if that's what you're looking for. The Goodnite in is the most affordable and their rooms are usually a step up from a Motel 6. Below are some other local hotels that you can look at. Redlands hotels seem to either be very nice or very much on the affordable side. For something in between there are places a few miles down the freeway in San Bernardino.
